HEY CUPCAKE!

If you haven't tried digital stamps - WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!! (sorry was that too loud?)- I love how versatile they are. If you are new to digi stamps and would like some tips on how to use them visit The Frugal Crafters blog . She has a yahoo group called Whats digital stamping that will supply lots of help.

I created this cupcake card from a cupcake digi image from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff and it was a really quick card to put together. I downloaded the image and then made the image in several nested sizes in photoshop then printed them out on the wrong side of a few different patterned papers. Then it was just a matter of fitting them together in an order that I liked. I don't think it is apparent in the picture but I ran the cupcake paper layers through my crimper for a realistic effect. It looks and feels really cool in person.

I used a brad and eyelet to make the upper layer of the cupcake flip up to reveal the sentiment. I used the same cupcake image in a 0.6 inch size to make the cute little cupcake inside. See what I mean by versatile?
Lindsay has some new images that are just beautiful so blop on over and check them out. Also, take a look at what the other design team members have done they have some super samples.
Thanks for stopping by!

This is FABULOUS!!!!! Love it!! Great colors, the papers are beautiful and I love how you took this card to a different level by making it not be the standard A-2 card with the little brad hinge. Lovely!
