The Hybrid Chick challenge for DSD at THC is to make a fall centerpiece. You may recognize this shape from a card I made HERE. I thought the shape would be great for a votive holder if I made it 3D.
The pumpkin is made from three oval spellbinders dies. Two pumpkin shapes were made and a strip of rectangular paper was placed in between to create a little box for the votive. The roses were made using an SVG file, also from TDC called PAPER ROSES.
I of course used a fake tea lite for obvious reasons. This was also made for the current PAPER CUBED CHALLENGE to make some type of candle decoration or votive holder.
If you have never tried digital today is the perfect day to give it a go. There are sales at TDC (30% off storewide) and all over the place at the numerous digital scrapbooking sites!
PROJECT STUFF
Paper - TDC, Season of Thankfulness, brown and orange card stock
PAPER ROSES
Etc., - Vellum, MS pumpkin punch, cuttlebug embossing folder, vine shape is an svg file from Penny Duncan

Another beautiful 3d project! Although u've used the same shape before, this looks awesome and creative! Loving it! Just a question though - I tried my LSS and some other hardware stores, but couldn't find the tea lights. Where did u get them?
Thanks!
