FFF, SNEAK PEAK, AND SCRAPPY MAGNOLIAS

When I first started making cards, before I started using stamped images, nearly all of them were a vintage, shabby chic sort of look. Though I have gotten away from it lately, it is still my favorite style of card and both of my projects today are in that genre.

FARM FRESH FRIDAY
There are some amazing new designs coming soon from The Greeting Farm and todays card is featuring one of them. Meet Miss Anya Dressy, she is one of a set of three available August 1st. She looked to me like a sweet little southern bell and that started me on the vintage trail. The new FARM FRESH CHALLENGE at TGF is to make something with flowers and butterflies.

I used a new digi kit from Raspberry Road Designs which included the sweet little rose frame. I made four copies of the frame and layered them with pop dots to create a sort of window for anya to sit in. The flower is made with a Martha Stewart heart punch. The directions can be found on Lesa Rapps blog.

Visit the TGF BLOG to get in on the FFF challenge fun, CLUB ANYA for a Club Couture Contest and the other DT members blogs to get some more Miss Anya Dresy sneak peaks, your going to love them! Don't forget the Birthday Bash, the blog hop and all the fun and prizes coming soon too.

SCRAPPY FROGS CHALLENGE BLOG

The challenge this time is to use a Magnolia stamp. Since I was in vintage mode and the Magnolia stamps just seem to be made for this type of project I did another one in this style. I wanted to prop her up on a picnic basket but I didn't have a stamp and no time to order or go buy one so I just found THIS one on the internet and printed it on my tan paper. I had to cut the handles off and reposition them but it worked pretty well and it was free, you gotta love that. The leaves are punches and I printed a couple copies of the flowers and cut them out by hand for the basket flowers. Hop on over and give the SCRAPPY FROGS CHALLENGE a try.

Have a super weekend!
