This is Stella and she has a message for you "HAVE A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!" I know it's a little early but tomorrow I will be busy ringing in the New Year with The Greeting Farm and Club Anya. I have had such an incredible year being on the design team and am so happy to continue into 2010 introducing all the wonderful new stamps.
Stella is the fourth and final new Sprout available on Jan 1 from The Greeting Farm.
I finally got around to trying my copics on her hair. It isn't the best but I don't think it's that bad either. I need a lot more practice though since I am not quite comfortable using them and I always seem to go back to my prisma pencils and gamsol.
Stella would make some awfully cute Valentines with her letter clutched in her cute little hands. The Hello sentiment is from the Hello-go-round set also from TGF.
My next card is for Sketch #11,only one more to go!
I colored and cut out the mouse from Library Mouse and the cake from Birthday Anya and put them together. I think it is kinda cute how it looks like he is almost tipping over from the big cake.
Make sure to check out THE GREETING FARM BLOG tomorrow for the big New Years Day Bash, I'll be there!

INTRODUCING GIGI!
Are you all getting ready to ring in the new year? We don't really have any plans, we are a pretty boring bunch.
Meet Gigi, another adorable girly styled by AMY for THE GREETING FARM. She looked like she was a flowerchild so I gave her a few to hang in. I used this week's "Sketch For You to TRY" from Jen del Muro's blog.
This is sketch #10 of the 12 days of sketches from TGF. Whew, can you believe we are almost through all 12? You have until the 3rd to get them all done and uploaded to the gallery and to be eligible for all the great prizes.
I used the OUTDOORSY set for mine and I flipped it on its side.
See you tomorrow for the last of the four new cuties, have a good one!

RUBY TUESDAY!
This is RUBY another wonderful stamp styled by AMY for THE GREETING FARM. Is she not just the cutest little thang? She, along with her mates will be available on the first (yikes-of 2010) of January.
The 12 days of sketches is still going on and I used today's sketch - #9.
I liked it so much that I used it in different ways for both Ruby and Yoga Anya also from TGF.
Thanks so much for stopping by and see you back tomorrow for another preview!

BLUEBIRD OF HAPPINESS!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! With a little downtime from work and all the holiday activities a memory it is time to get down to some serious crafting.
This is sketch #7 for the 12 days of sketches from THE GREETING FARM. Have you all been playing along? It has been a lot of fun and there have been some really great sketches so far.
I have used an image from THE SWEET MESSAGE SET by Marina Neira, so cute! I haven't added a sentiment yet because I am not sure what it will be used for but I think it would make a sweet baby boy card.
Five more sketches to go and we have some super previews coming up next week!

HAPPY CHRISTMAS!
I have been out of commission for a couple of days due to a nasty little virus that gave me a bad case of vertigo. Pretty scary to be spinning inside your body, but everything is pretty much back to normal - just my usual dizziness to deal with now!
This is Sketch #6 of THE GREETING FARM'S 12 DAYS OF SKETCHES and I thought I would use this one to send you all a holiday card and to wish you all the very best and happiest holiday season regardless of which one (if any) you celebrate.
I used SASSY SUZI and gave her Santa's job (and Ian's hat). I hope she brings you everything on your list - provided you haven't been naughty this year. In which case I hope she brings you everything on your list and more!

BOOKMARKS
Just a quick post to show a couple of bookmarks I made to put inside some books that I got for gifts. They add a nice little touch when you write a personal note on the back specially written for the recipient.
They are just a couple layers of Spellbinders Nestablities with some ribbon sandwiched between and the image up top. I needed one for a boy and one for a girl.
For the boy's I used LIBRARY MOUSE from The Greeting Farm.
And for the girl's I used READING FAIRY also from TGF.
Off to make some more cookies! Have a great day!

SKETCH CHALLENGE DAY#2
Are you ready for the holidays? I am not that is why this post is late today! Busy, busy, busy as the magician would say.
It is day number two of the 12 days of sketches challenge at THE GREETING FARM - so many challenges, so many prizes! This is the sketch.
This was a card made to go with the gift box I made a week or so ago. I was supposed to have sent the whole thing out on the 10th - where the heck did the time go? I hope she likes it just the same late or not.
To play along with the challenges check out THIS post at TGF and make sure to upload your cards to the GALLERY, most of all have fun!

We are pleased to bring you....TGF's 12 Days of Sketches!
Beginning today, we will be posting the TGF 12 Days of Sketches on the TGF BLOG starting with today's Farm Fresh Friday! With the exception of Sundays and Christmas Day, we'll be indulging your stamping addiction with TWELVE awesome sketches designed by our own Cindy Haffner, Mercy Kerin, Jessica and Marie!
Each day that a different sketch is posted, you can also find a place to upload them in the TGF GALLERIA, beginning with today, Sketch 1.
I flipped the sketch for my card which has Travel Anya packed up and ready for a road trip to where else but a stamping convention! Oh yeah, those suit cases are empty and waiting to be filled with stamps and ink.
Our 12th Sketch will be revealed on NEW YEAR's DAY with a HUGE all-day CELEBRATION...stay tuned for details on that!
Our next TWO FFF's will proceed as normal and a prize will be given out to a random winner.

CLUB ANYA BLOG HOP!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I am at my daughter's Christmas concerts tonight (all three in a row) so I will be hopping tomorrow. I can't wait to see all your amazing creations!
I love this new Miss Anya Love set, all three are so incredibly adorable and they will be available at midnight tonight (CST)at THE GREETING FARM. They just make you sigh and say awwwwwww. I will be making all kinds of valentines from them and I started with these two projects.
First up, I got this Bo Bunny clear party favor container at my local scrapbook store. Little missy fits right inside. And yes, those are pink nerds inside, do you know how difficult it is to find any decent pink candy at Christmas time?
Next up is a card to go with the candy. When I saw this Miss Anya I immediately thought of her sitting on a heart shaped pillow which somehow led to her being perched on a heart shaped swing.
I have seen these folded, open, kinda dangly cards a number of places but I just sort of cut out a heart shape and winged it because I was pressed for time and couldn't find a tutorial. The heart Anya is swinging on was one I found through a google image search. I made it the size I wanted, printed and used it as a template. I think it was a necklace.
I usually show my stuff to my daughter (she is such a great kid, she always has an encouraging reaction) but I think I will hide these so I can give them to her for V-day.
I sheepishly admit that I am purposely omitting the front of the card because I didn't have time to finish for the hop but I will get it done eventually and post it some other time.
If you don't know where to go next just hop back to CLUB ANYA for the list. Hope you are having fun!

HELP! I'M TRAPPED WITH MANIACAL GRINNING SNOWMEN!
I made this card for the sheer fun of it and maybe a challenge or three. I have been itching to use the plastic cups I got from SU and I finally had some time to make something.
I used this weeks MOJO MONDAY SKETCH for the layout.
The little penguin is a clear stamp that I picked up from the clearance rack at Walmart last year. He was the only stamp I had that was small enough to fit inside the plastic and as I looked at him when I was finished, I thought he looked truly frightened of those stupidly grinning snowmen.
I put some white flower soft in the container for snow which I think looks pretty cool.
Now, here is the surprising part. The entire background minus the circles was done digitally. Meaning the Pink, turquoise and striped part is all one layer put together in Photoshop and printed on a single sheet of paper. I love digi! I can not only try out my designs to see what goes together but I can be green as well. No wasted scraps or trashed cards because I didn't like the results! OK, hold on while I jump off my soap box.... there, I'm down.
These are the other challenges for which it was made.
THE PINK ELEPHANT - FAVORITE CHRISTMAS COLOR COMBO
CRAZY 4 CHALLENGES- SNOWMAN OR SNOWFLAKE CARD

UNDIES FOR CHRISTMAS?
Raise your hand if you remember Underoos! My son never had them but he had/has plenty of super hero undies. Is there anything cuter than seeing your little guy running around in his superman undies with a blanket tied around his neck for a cape? You just want to bite those coochy little cheeks!
Is this not the cutest stamp too! This is my first (but certainly not last) Whimsie Doodles digi stamp and it is now my favorite Christmas stamp.
When my son who is nine (and is sort of hedging his bets by still believing) asks if Santa is real, I always tell him what is on the sentiment. It shuts him up pretty quick!
I don't know why but the colors look different on the two pics but it is the same card. My camera skills totally stink! Anyway, Since it is a digi stamp I sized it up to about 6 inches wide in Photoshop and printed it out separately on the patterned paper and on the red. I cut out just the elastic from the red and attached it to the patterned paper. I made a separate center part the same way for the flap. The paper is from EK Success and the red is SU riding hood red.
This was made for both the SCS limited supply challenge to use stars on a project and the Whimsie doodles challenge to use a cookie shape (circle) on a project.

A SIMPLE FARM FRESH FRIDAY!
***Leave a comment to win my BLOG CANDY-CLICK HERE!
This week we have a Christmas K.I.S.S. Challenge-Keep it Simply Shaped. That means no diecut, nesties, cricut, only thing allow is what you can make using your trimmer. Whew, that really is a challenge since all of those things have become standard in my card making. Guess that's why its called a challenge huh!
I stuck with some basic triangle and square shapes but I did cut the edges of the sentiment shape free hand to mimic my punch. The trees look like die cuts but are metal ones that I found at the craft store last year.
Check out the CLUB ANYA BLOG for some great previews and don't forget about the blog hop next Monday!
Have a great weekend!

I'M AN ANGEL!
Ha, if you knew me you would know how far from the truth this is but I just wanted to let you all know that I am now an independent demo for THE ANGEL COMPANY and I have started another blog in addition to this one (I will be posting on both), CELESTIAL STAMPING, for all things ANGEL. If you aren't familiar with the company they have a wide range of stamp styles from cute to elegant and a whole bunch of pretty paper. I knew I had to be a demo when I absolutely had to have everything in the catalog.
To launch my new site I am giving away a couple FREE CATALOGS and BLOG CANDY. All you have to do is click over and check it out! I have a couple of Christmas themed projects as well.
Thanks so much, good luck!

A FARM FRESH FRIDAY COLOR CHALLENGE!
Happy Friday! Hope you enjoyed the blog hop and THANK YOU so much for all the sweet comments! I love seeing all the DT's creations, what a super group of ladies!
Today's FFF is a color challenge which is something I haven't done before. Don't worry if you don't have the exact colors you can use something that is close-enuff! My project is mostly blue and brown but I do have a tiny bit of olive on the book and for the grass.
I would love to take credit for the the design of this lovely box but it is a total case of an amazing paper crafter named KIRSTEN . I pretty much copied her work as is except for the image which is the VICTORIAN READER stamp from TGF. If you go take a look at her project you will know why. It is nothing short of magnificent and she has a tutorial on her blog on how to make it.
Not only is it a cool treasure keeper it has a card attached to the top. Brilliant! I made this one for a friend but when my daughter saw it she said (in a pleading little girl way) "awwwww, I want one of these". They are so easy to make I will certainly make her one.
I used some of my hoarded/coveted SU paper for this project(I can't remember the exact name but it isn't available anymore and I wish I had bought a lot more of it) so you know it is for someone VERY special. Which she really is!
Did you see that cute little blinkie over there on the right? Club Anya is having a customer blog hop and you are invited to join in! Just click on the blinkie and sign yourself up in the comments section of the post it should be a lot of fun!

ONCE UPON A TIME
I love the old fairy tales, you know the politically incorrect, slightly twisted ones. They kinda have a mean streak to them but always have a strong moral and are really fun to read. Today's tales are good for the morals but they just don't have the punch the older ones have.
Well, this little fairy doesn't have a mean bone in her tiny little pixie body but she does have great fairy tale.
This READING FAIRY was designed by Elizabeth O. Dulemba and is a new release from THE GREETING FARM available tomorrow.
The outside of the card was made to look like a book while on the inside
I made a simple V pop up to try to make it look like she was floating around having a grand old time reading her exciting tales of fantasy.
Unfortunately I cut off her antennae so I added some wire so she wouldn't go off course.
Check out the other design team members blogs for some more sneak peeks of Elizabeth's wonderful new stamps and I will see you back here tomorrow for a little blog hoppin!
